Russellville, Alabama turned up the heat this past weekendâliterally and figurativelyâas the Northwest Alabama Ride Park played host to an adrenaline-fueled showdown on a rugged full-circle course that tested line choices and guts alike.
Small Tire Class kicked off the weekend with fireworks: đ„ Dex Browder drew the No. 1 chip and set an unbeatable pace at 52.17 seconds, holding the throne through to the final run. đ„ Dylan Vaughn wowed the crowd in his new race rig, charging to a slick 54.50 for second. đ„ Alex Williams, subbing in for John Hammett, inched past the competition with a clean 1:04.00, just edging out the OG Hitman, Travis Lovett, who ran a gritty 1:04.04.
There were tough breaks tooâSteven, Ashton, and David, all part of Dylâs Offroad crew, each faced early exits due to mechanical woes. The battle for season points is already shaping up to be intense: Top 3 Small Tire Points Standings:

4 Banger Class brought raw power in small packages: đ„ Timmy McGill pushed his Hambone Fab buggy to perfection with a 1:00.00 flat, sealing the win in style. đ„ Bill Stoy came out blazing in his Toyota-based beast, clocking a strong 1:05. đ„ Brandon Dean laid down an early solid run at 1:13, clinching a well-earned podium finish.
Unlimited VIN Class may have had just three contenders, but the action didnât disappoint: đ„ Chad Delibero stole the show with a thunderous 52.56 in his big block TJ, leaving fans wide-eyed. đ„ Danny followed closely in his LS-powered Samurai with a time of 1:05. đ„ Fred Van Cleaveâs leaf-sprung Chevy rattled its way to 1:48, bringing classic power to the mix.
